Do YOU Know..
Do you and your staff work in a hands-on setting where you find yourself managing challenging behaviors? Safety-Care training could be the right fit for you!
Safety-Care is a behavior-based safety training that teaches staff safe and professional ways to respond to challenging and/or aggressive behavior. Our curriculum is ABA-based, customizable, and focuses on evidence-based behavior strategies designed to prevent and manage challenging behavior. The 3-day training is taught exclusively by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Safety-Care training can be applied to various settings, such as special education classrooms, adult and children’s residential programs, adult day programs and psychiatric hospitals. The strategies benefit people who may be diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including Autism, as well as many other conditions such as Bi-polar Disorder and Schizophrenia. Safety-Care gives staff members the tools they need to safely and effectively de-escalate a situation before it becomes a crisis.
Geri-Care gives staff members the tools they need to not only prevent and manage challenging behaviors, but also to effectively replace these behaviors with more functional ones. This is a unique crisis prevention training program that is designed for staff who are working with people who are older and/or medically-fragile, and with other individuals who need special care.
Safety-Care for Families™
Do you ask yourself “Why do my children have behavior problems?” or “Can I manage child’s difficult behavior?” If so, Safety-Care for Families might be a terrific option.
Safety-Care for Families is a training program designed specifically for family members and other caregivers working with individuals of all ages that exhibit challenging behaviors. This innovative course provides you with ABA-based skills and interventions to prevent, minimize, and manage potentially dangerous incidents, while teaching more functional behavior.
Quality Behavioral Competencies™ (QBCs)
Our Quality Behavioral Competencies course -- QBCs, for short -- is a self-paced training that provides your staff with evidence-based reinforcement strategies to deliver safe, effective care, education, and treatment.
QBCs encourage skill development in 10 critical behavioral skills such as reinforcement, differential reinforcement, positive redirection, and behavioral momentum.
This 2-day course is a great fit for educators, social workers, rehabilitation specialists, and more, who want to learn behavior management ideas and behavior strategies to manage challenging behavior. If you are a BCBA, QBCs are a fantastic supplement to the training you are most likely currently providing to your staff. Trainees practice each QBC skill, which helps to reinforce and maintain the behavioral skills they are (hopefully) using every day!
